Kat is a recent graduate of SHI Integrative Medical Massage School and newly licensed massage therapist. She’s also a vegan, a Baha’i, a full-time childcare provider, a part-time poet, and someone who likes to get up before the sun rises to take walks around her neighborhood.  She is married has many houseplant babies; Fern, Basil, Jade, Aloe, Bamboo, and Spider like to throw food fights when she’s not home.

Kat started LMT or Bust because most of the online resources for massage therapy students seem to be written by people who graduated decades ago.  Hardly anybody out there is actually DOING massage school, and writing about it from the trenches.  And most massage student resource blogs?  Boring.  Kat hates boring.

LMT or Bust hopes to be an honest, useful, humorous, and occasionally inspiring resource for current, future, and prospective massage therapy students everywhere.
